Claire Newbury
Office Manager
Since joining Bourne Capital in 2003, Claire has managed the Head Office at Waterloo Road. She also manages the majority of the Group’s residential properties. Often acting as a first port of call, she has developed important relationships with tenants, insurers, advisors, and suppliers.
Hugh Rosen
Estates Development Manager
Hugh Rosen originally joined Robert Bourne's Local London Group plc in 1987 following LLG's acquisition of a London property portfolio he managed. As an original member of the Bourne Capital team, he has played a vital part in its continued growth over the last two decades. He is currently involved in a range of Group's activities, focusing particularly on the management and development potential of Bourne Capital’s four London Estates.
Valerie Brooks
Group Events Manager
Valerie joined the company in 2008 in a newly created role as Group Events Manager responsible for event sales and marketing across the leisure venues. She manages a combined marketing operation under the working title; The Bourne Collection, which offers a professional and comprehensive events service at Waterloo Brasserie, Cheyne Walk Brasserie, Ronnie Scott’s and Queens Ice and Bowl to the corporate and private markets. Valerie has worked extensively in the events industry since 1987, has diverse experience in sales and management of large and small scale events in the UK and Europe. She is currently serving as vice president for Education on the board of ISES UK.
Cathy Bolton
General Manager, Waterloo Brasserie
Cathy Bolton joined Bourne Capital as General Manager for Waterloo Brasserie in late 2009. Her extensive management experience of catering operations spans 25 years, encompassing such high profile operators as River Café, Oliver Peyton and Searcys and most recently as Group Purchasing Manager for Ping Pong Group. Her knowledge and passion for all aspects of the hospitality industry will be of great advantage to the operation moving forward.
Jerome Bichot
General Manager, Cheyne Walk Brasserie
Since joining Bourne Capital in 2004 after training at The Royal Opera House, Jerome has been running Cheyne Walk Brasserie as General Manager since 2008. The Brasserie is a firm favourite amongst Chelsea residents and under his forward thinking leadership is fast becoming a destination venue for Weddings, Christenings, Birthdays and Anniversary parties. Having successfully nurtured the predominantly French team at Cheyne Walk, Jerome brings experience and local knowledge in assisting in the development and opening of the Phene.
Simon Cooke
Managing Director Ronnie Scott’s Club
After an early career in night club management at Victoria’s The Venue, Simon spent several years in the Rock and Roll merchandise industry, touring with artists as varied as Genesis, AC/DC and Diana Ross. A successful period as owner of merchandise company Firstfame, which included both music and sports clients – notably the Rugby World Cup in 1991 - was followed by a return to his first love of jazz with a Directorship at radio station Jazz fm where he built up the non radio commercial interests - iconic dance record business Hed Kandi being one notable result. Now MD at Ronnie’s, Simon oversees all aspects of this internationally renowned music club, which includes dictating the music policy as well as working on overall brand development strategy. Simon is also a trustee of Heatherleys Art School in Chelsea.
